I hosted Concur’s year-end event two years ago so it was quite easy to say YES to them when they asked me to host for them again months ago. Easy to work with and a fun crowd to host for – two points I’d definitely give the firm credit for!
The venue for their big kick-off party this year was definitely impressive: Globe Circuit Grounds. The program was designed to simply make sure the crowd would have fun. This was for them; this was THEIR night.
Leading up to the main act were a string of groups which consisted of the firm’s employees. These were groups who merely wanted to perform; no contest, no prize, just them on stage, partying with the rest of their colleagues.
I will tell you this, I truly felt like I was watching a concert. TALENTED employees who worked hard before and after their shifts left us, their audience, in awe. Nearing the end, we were all treated to a great (and entertaining, Chito being Mr. Funny Man/Suave and all) set by Parokya ni Edgar.
Here are some pictures from the event:
Thank you once again for having me, SAP Concur! I had such an amazing time with all of you. To see you guys dance, hear you sing and cheer – what a feeling!
And, YES, I would be more than happy to host for you guys again next year!
