It was such an interesting experience and I truly learned so much from her. She was real all throughout the interview and I got nothing but honest answers.

Those are the lines I will remember for sure. Beyond being a beauty queen, she is part of many groups that fight for peace and the support for the arts in the Philippines. Additionally, she is also a member of the Habitat for Humanity.
Her whole being has surpassed just being that 19 year-old beauty queen who got the Miss Universe title in 1973. She is a leader. A mother. An adventurer. A traveler. A fighter.
Yes, she is a woman of substance.
